Don't Leave Me...Hungry for Love...

Hello again! Can't wait to share with you today! I just found this band via Twitter ~ yah, love Twitter. Doesn't suck up all the time Facebook does, it's short, sweet, and you move on after 140 characters or less. It's hands-down the best 'stalk-me' social-network out there, my humble opinion, anyway. So, back to this group, a band you probably already know and love, but I'm pretty behind on the music scene, LOL. Sanctus Real sounded like a punk band to me, but I thought I'd lend them an ear for at least 30 seconds, after having a Twitter 'follower' named Hungry for Love follow me, then they tweeted about the band.
Hmm...what kind of perv am I going to find by the name of Hungry for Love (you wouldn't believe what's out there)? But to my great surprise, I found Sanctus Real (Hungry for Love is the name of their current album tour) had a great sound. And their content is touching, haunting, and encouraging. This group has quite a different flavor from the vid we watched yesterday (COTM's Dad's Life). Don't pass-up today's video or you'll miss something great.
I watch this and I listen to the words, but it's my husband's heart I'm hearing in the song. That makes it pretty special. Actually, that makes him pretty special.
Have a wonderful week, everyone!

Great lyrics. Something I've been thinking about as I'm preparing to speak to a group of young mothers at church. I've been asked to address the topic of How To Raise Christian children when Your Husband Won't Lead. Definitely a challenging topic to prepare.
Thanks for sharing,
A J Hawke
Isn't it a wonderful heart for a father and husband to have? And to look to Christ to lead him in his family?
I know you'll bless many woman, AJ, many families. I can't imagine addressing that subject to them--the frustrations and heavy hearts that will be there, but the hope you'll offer through Christ will bind wounds.
Lord bless your speaking as you point those precious hearts to Christ.
Thanks for posting my video. I am so blessed by this song and want as many people as possible to hear this message.
Thanks
Ryan
Great Post! ...And great band. :)
I laughed for about 17 seconds at this line:
"what kind of perv am I going to find by the name of Hungry for Love"
Haha. So funny...
