Daniel Beck, however, was far too busy tending his fortune and running Beck Mining to find time to read. With no interest in any sort of adventure, the Englishman turned Colorado resident needed help – as in someone to tame his adorable but allegedly out-of-control ten-year-old daughter. Thus, as fate and the Lord would have it, Gennie gets her chance to exchange train tickets with the woman headed out West and lands on Daniel’s doorstep. Unfortunately, he’s not home, which sets her off on a tirade about her opinion of a man who would so poorly esteem his duties as a parent.
With two opposite personalities about to attract, how could anything but a love story follow? What readers of The Confidential Life of Eugenia Cooper don’t know is that until Gennie galloped her way into Daniel’s life and heart, he was dangerously close to giving in to logic and marrying the girl next door, the lovesick Anna Finch.Leave a comment here

This is one of my favorite books, and I can't wait for Anna Finch and the Hired Gun (book two in this series)!

The Conf. Life of Eugenia Cooper is great! Loved it!
I looked at her site and the one you are offering would be my top pick to check her out with. Maybe, I'll get to win it!

Oh, I forgot about having to tell you why. Just like the thought of a reader running out to act out her want of adventure that she gets through the books and then gets herself in "trouble"
I would have to agree with MJ. My favorite would be The Confidential Life of Eugenia Price. Her opinion of men and raising a child by himself piques my interest!!! Please enter me.

Katey,
I love Kathleen's website too. Love that westerny feel with the blue bonnet colors!
Kathleen's books sound like fun because her heroine's promise to be a little over-the-top spunky. What girl doesn't love an over-the-top spunky heroine? : )
Oh I just love anything that Kathleen writes, I have some of her books and would love to win one.

You guys are making me blush! Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful comments. Now that I've finished Anna's story (book 2), I'm beginning work on book 3. A little teaser: I'll be sending Charlotte, the troublemaking child in The Confidential Life of Eugenia Cooper to London to meet her match - literally!
A feisty heroines, an Englishman, and an unruly daughter - how fun is that : ) Lots of material for a good read. And Kathleen Y'Barbo always delivers an interesting story.
Patricia, exactly! The perfect recipe for adventure and love.
Oh, I love historical books. Western settings, you name it romance. All her books look so so good. I'd love to win this book thanks.
