Last month we enjoyed an interview with Phillip Mornay, the hero from Linore Rose Burkard's books, Before the Season Ends & The House In Grosvenor Square.
Many of you had a lot of fun with that and enjoyed reading Phillip's thoughts. As promised, this month we're teaming up with Linore and holding a contest to find the "Reader's Favorite" portrait of Mr. Mornay. We'll keep the contest running for a week or two, then tabulate the votes the results will run next month in Linore's newsletter. So, stop by Linore's site and sign up for it--it really is a wonderful newsletter, chock full of Regency period info.

Okay can I just say this list is awesome!! That being said anything that has me choose between Richard Armitage and Elliot Cowan well...this girl can't do it! I just loved Elliot as Mr. Darcy in Lost in Austen (can you say BROODING??!!) and Richard Armitage was a total dreamboat in North and South (his accent was killer!!!!!!) Okay I have to quit before I short out my laptop by drooling all over it! So yeah, any of these guys would make a superb Mr. Mornay but I think I may just be leaning towards Richard Armitage for my choice! Can't wait to see what others have to say!

Linore I haven't gotten my hands on Grosvenor Square yet so I'm basing this all on BTSE.
Great idea Tina and Linore
I vote for #7. What's not to love about Colin Firth--as long as he's not doing a nanny movie. I haven't read your book yet, Linore, but I've heard great things about it.
These votes are Soooo much fun to tally, I can't believe it. And I love that some of you had such strong ideas of Mr. Mornay that you had to send in your own images. Richard Armitage was a reader addition, and Carman, I would love to see the pic you had in mind.
The cool thing is that even with our differing choices, it's easy to see that Mornay is undeniably clear in everyone's mind as a handsome, brooding hero. Wait until you see him in the third book--The Country House Courtship--he isn't the "hero" of the book, but he will win your heart in the story in a new way.

Hi Carmen, I think I'd like to change to #13 also. He looks more the age of Phillip Mornay, my first pick seemed a little older than I pictured him while reading BEFORE THE SEASON ENDS and HOUSE IN GROSVENOR SQUARE.
